Dear Respected Scholars/Readers,

Subject: Requesting Articles for the upcoming Annual Journal ‘KRISTI”,

Published from “Abha Prakashan”, New Delhi, India

Happy Spring (New Year in parts of the world).

I take the opportunity to announce the launching of a scholarly annual journal ‘KRISTI’ in memory of (Late) Dr. Priyatosh Banerjee, an eminent Art Historian on India & Central Asia. The first issue is scheduled to be published in May, 2008, for domestic and international distribution.

The journal will provide a forum for scholarly articles, research notes, and book reviews of the highest quality from cultures around the world including South-East Asia, Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia and South Asia and will cover the following spectrum of disciplines: anthropology, archaeology, art, history, history of science and medicine, linguistics, literature, musicology, philosophy, and religious studies – emphasizing on peace and environment.

It is my pleasure to let you know that renowned (Hon.) Editors from parts of the world have already joined the Board of Editors and scholars around the world have been contributing articles for the maiden issue. We will be delighted to add your article/notes/reviews that meet the requirements of Kriisti’s mission.

I look forward to your contribution for review and selection! Best wishes from the “Kristi’ board of Editors.

Sincerely,
