1. So happiness has something to do about childish or childlike simplicity! Is this the state of mind when you have achieved complete salvation and your desires have died out and with your present conditions you are ever blissful? Is this the state of mind that Ramakrishna Paramhansa Deb (just an example) used to experience from time to time? Can this Kingdom of God kind of happiness be experienced by some one engaged in mundane activities like writing a poem, playing sitar, or even solving a scientific problem?
2. You have said that people who live in the forests are probably much more happier than us. Then why are we rushing to cities and going after all the modern amenities? Is your solution not too impractical?
3. You have said that sages used to live in forests and meditate day and night. Forests were calm and quiet, but they were insecure too. Is not a university in an advanced country with all its labs and libraries much more better place to meditate in? Are not the universities producing modern sages?
4. You have said that prosperity is not the source of happiness. Your statement is anticivilizational. Prosperity is one of the goals that is a driving factor for human progress. A better statement would have been: Prosperity is not the only source of happiness; we need more than that. It would be too egocentric if I myself hanker after prosperity but profess ascetic life for others.
5. There was no "promulgator" for your "God" and "Kingdom of Heaven." Is that right? Not even some unknown ancient Indian sage? Realization has come from within yourself? It is not some thing that you have borrowed from some organized religion? "God" and "Kingdom of heaven" are not scientifically varifiable and hence these are simply matters of belief and faith, and fall within the domain of religion---organized or not.
6. I am really interested to know your answers. Please reply. Regards.
