Mohammad Quamruzzaman, a leader of the Bangladeshi Islamist organization, Jamat-i-Islami of  Bangladesh has quite a checkered past.      http://www.thedailystar.net/story.php?nid=10740 ].  He has been alleged to be directly involved in killing of civilians during Bangladesh's war of independence. His alleged crime is well documented. [ this is the same person, name spelled as Kamruzzaman in this link http://www.muktadhara.net/page42.html ] Yet Mr. Quamruzzaman is presumed to be a darling of the West. His frequent visit to the U.S.  capital ought to raise enough eyebrows.  The following is the English translation of a news story on the Jamaat leader's recent trip to USA. The story was published in the Bengali on-line daily NEWS-BANGLA.
