Re: [mukto-mona] Re: Reconciling Science and Religion: My response to Mr. Gani

WRT: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mukto-mona/message/48578

I almost fully agree with Mr. Avijit regarding the discussion of 'Reconciling of science and religion'(specifically omniscience and omnipotence) of God, but not entirelly. You just argued lot of stuff which is like words of my mind. You truly pointed out-if God causes everything, if nothing happens without the command of God, then what's the fault of men ? Same question was raised in Gita. Actually, Quran is not that much strong in terms of phillosophy. It's very easy to point out the weakness of phillosophy and rationality in Quran. But the answer to this question(specificly, omnipotonce-and "what's the fault of creature ?" -as been asked in Gita) is resolved in Gita. The answer was given by the muni-rishis of India thousands of years ago. The answer is  'Indifference of God'(look, I'm not here to defend existence of God, which I don't know), if that Power is not indifferent and has to respond to everything, the universe could be in whole mess.
In scientific point of view, it is also a primary and mendatory condition in order for the laws of nature working without any intervention. We are seeing the impact of intervention on nature by human several epoxes because of greed and luxuriousness. If we look at the characteristics in an atomic structure-we can observe this 'Indifferebce'. I will discuss this some other day.
Buddha revealed a phillosophy of 'Zero'. Not knowing about this matter, one day my elder brother was saying in discussion over the phone(that day I took the side of atheist) that "If you do not have a 'Zero', you can not satisfy any problem or math. Zero is like something where all reach ultimately and get satisfied and balanced."
No more argument-one thing I didn't understand from your explanation about energy during the of big-bag. In our engineering also it is explained-'boundary principle' or 'closed system' principle for enthalpy and entropy. the formula is: energy=u+pv. You said that the total energy of universe is zero according to quantum physics. I accept your explanation-"the nagative gravitational energy cancels out .....". But the thing is, whatever it is true mathematically or physically, the brain hardly accepts that. My question-what happens to the matter that very moment when the energy is zero. As Einstein proved that matter is converted form of energy and vice versa. Does matter also become zero that moment ? Please explain that to  me- I admit that i am like a layman in this subject-not an scholar like you.
Another thing-don't you think that, the 'Zero' state reflects the phillosophy of Buddha-as he did not make any comment regarding the existence of God. Second point, don't you think that the 'Zero state' of energy reflects the 'Indifference' of a 'Power'(i don't know if it is God or else)-or the God of Einstein who abides by the laws of nature in perpose ?
