[mukto-mona] Re: Western society tei ki nari mukto na?

Dear Talat,

Thanks for your long e-mail. You raised a very crucial topic. It would be very difficult to answer in short.  A slogan of Naripokkho (a feminist organisation in Bangladesh) is, "I am a women, the whole world is my battle field." As a member of Naripokkho, I also have the same opinion. You should not forget the fact that women in western countries are also fighting for various rights. In some cases both the way of fighting and issue differ from those of Eastern countries.

However, I will write about it in future from my experiences.

Media te ( cinema, drama, song, dance etc) narir kaj kora shomporke akon o amader society te negetive dharona ase. erokom onek hoise j kono maye media te kaj korte chae kintu tar family, relatives er apotti, bad comments er jonno kaj korte pare nai. western societyte ki erokom hoi? sekhane ki nari media te kaj korar jonno kono badhar shommukhin hoi family,relatives ,societyr kach theke?

 

Media te kaj korar baparta example hishebe dilam. erokom aro ojosro example deya jabe jekhane dakha jabe amader shomaje hajaro badha kintu western society te kono badha nai. jamon maye der rat e baire ber howa. Amader society te maye ra rat e aka aka baire ber hoi na bollei chole and holeo family,relatives,society comments korte uthe pore lege jai. western society te ki erokom hoi? sekhane ki akta maye obolilae e rat e aka aka baire ber hocche na? tahole ki proma hoi na western society narir jonno adorsho?

 

europe amerciar big big city te 50% vehicle er driver e female hobe apni jodi khojen. Dhaka shohore to lak lak gari. dhaka te ki 50% driver female khuje paben? paben na jani. tahole akon ki proman hoi na j narir proti western societyr views equal?

western society liberal. liberalism er moddhei narir mukti. bangladeshi society conservative. conservative society te ki narir mukti shomvob? jodi shomvob na hoi tahole kano kono bangladeshi maye western culture follow kora suru korle take apnara " opo shongskriti" bole bidrup koren? Kano borong take apnara western culture follow korakei encourage koren na?

 

 

amader shamne 3 ta culture. western culture, bangali culture , islamic culture.

 

islamic culture e narir shadhinotar " sho"  o nai. Nari shompurno oboruddho ei culture e.

 

bangali culture islamic culture theke kichuta liberal. BUT churanto bibechonae etao narir shadhinota birodhi culture. seta to apni jenen e.

 

ami mone kori western culture ei narir mukti. because western culture liberal. There is no conservatism. There is no one to restrict women's life style in western culture.
