how are you?
dr. ahmed's writing has not helped a single soul, in fact the
quality of his writing and its popularity made people believe that it
is the best, but it is not. a careful analysis and comparison with
other great literature would reveal that to anyone.
we do not need anyone like humayun ahmed (as a writer), his
contribution may seem to help people; but in fact it is destroying many
people's taste of great literature. he has no contribution in
literature that is worth remembering or ponder over.
in fact, his popularity reveals our true understanding of great
literature; if anyone is familiar with great world literature, then
that person would agree that dr. ahmed creates garbage, total and pure
garbage.
there is no need to reach his level for anyone else, he has done enough damage to our literature. so, you telling us that to criticize him we have to be at his level, but to like his writing we can stay where we are? isn't that called blind-belief? from where did you learn to use this kind of reasoning? my friend, please take a look at your education, i am worried to hear this kind of reasoning in the 21st century.
