Re: [ALOCHONA] The Bangladeshi strike in Kuwait

Ah, good salary comparison. Perhaps, you will also like to tell us that how so called multinational companies of US, UK, and many other Christian countries are treating to their own Christian brothers and sisters from other Christian countries. Tell us what is the minimum wage rate in UK and how the Christian owners of Christian country, UK is treating to illegal Christian people from other Christian countries? Give us COMPLETE and in depth analyses comparing any Muslim and any Christian country out of UK, USA like monsters and tell us how do you believe that these Muslim countries are not treating us better than UK, USA etc?

Give us the source of your inserions that even in Russia people making 1000$?

And will you please share more stories of your family with us. As we are so much interested to know more about the family of The Great Sultan, Tipu Sultan. We will be very thankful to you.

Thanks.

Subject: [ALOCHONA] The Bangladeshi strike in Kuwait

Well, if their Wages have been more than doubled, it doesn't sound too much compared to Kuwait's Per Capita Income (over $ 28,000 a year) but still its $ 149 or 10,250 Taka a month now.
Embassy should watching-over their Living Conditions besides keep trying to raise their Wages because definitely Kuwait can afford more. Bangladeshi educated class should be told, this is not the situation in Western Countries and there's much higher Minimum Wage compared to Per Capita Income of those countries. For Example less than $ 24,000 yearly Earnings of family of 4 qualifies it Welfare Money, Food Stamps, Free Medical and other compensations in USA.

Federal Minimum Wage is $ 6.50 an hour but in some States its as high as $ 7.50 and nobody can dare to pay them less than that. $ 6.50 means, $ 13,500 a year. Similar are wages in Canada. Wages are higher than that in Scandanavian countries. Even in Russia people make $ 1,000 a month now so, why just depend on Middle Estern Countries, where Foreign Workers are being treated like vitual Slaves?

The issue about blaming the embassy in Kuwait has become the go of
the day, but truth is that the Bangladeshi workers made a successful
effort in raising their salaries from 18 KD to 40 KD, which was
claimed by the Kuwait government itself.

The channels in Bangldesh like channel I is always claiming that the
Bangladesh embassy has failed and does nothing that does anything
good for bangladesh the 'talkbaj'es of Bangladesh have no or limited
knowledge on the issue at hand in kuwait and bangladesh. They always
go with the popular saying that 'The embassy did not do anything'
or 'The embassy is useless' the truth why about 313 bangladeshis have
been sent back is that after the claim of 40 KD minimum wage was
fixed, the people were not happy and they started beating up the
police who shared food and drinking water with the workers and so the
people who were found giulty were sent back to Bangladesh.

The point i am trying to make is that the Embassy has no fault in
this. The embassy workers pleaded with the workers to return to work
but they refused and this is when the situation got out of hand.

The reason why so many bangladeshis came to work in kuwait for 18 KD
is becasue of the corrupt 'adom baparis' of bangladesh, who gave
money to the minister so that they could ship these poor workers to
kuwait.

Now the problem has built up over a long time and all this has to be
handled by the embasssy!!!!! What is bangladesh thinking, does it
think that the bangladesh embassy is god or something?

And is it not an achievement that 80 to 90 thousand people have
returned to work and that the rights are restored.

The Bangladesh Embassy has set a minimum if 50 KD that workers must
have before they come into kuwait but the corrupt people got these
people into kuwait under their noses.

In the end fo the day the corrupt people are making millions and the
poor embassy people have to take the blame, they have limited power
and limited manpower, heck they do not even have an ambassador and i
salute the CDA for doing such a wonderful job.

P.S

Next time u go on blaming the embassy think about what u r saying.
