Can you give any evidences? 2. Communists, RAW, Buddhist fundamentalism, etc. have been blamed for the present situation in CHT. But the root causes have not been searched much, the curse of Kaptai dam and Mujib's chauvinistic attitude (tomra bangali hoye jao) that angered the CHT people have been mentioned though. The author has however not mentioned the notorious planned settlement of Bengalis from the plains in the hills initiated by Zia. 3. I will suggest the author to watch the documentary "Karnaphulir Kanna" by Tanvir Mokammel. The BNP govt. did not let the documentary to see the light of day. In the documentary it has been shown that there is no problem with the Bengalis who have been living in CHT for a long time. The problem or grievance is with the new settlement policies only and the excesses done by army, law enforcement agencies, and the new settlers. --SC
