While totally agreeing with Mr.Matiur Rahman that we need to
disagree with respect with Mr. S.A.Hannan and no one should attack him
personally with derogatory language but I don't accept his comments that Mukto
Mona is an Islam bashing forum. If he has followed our views without any bias
he will accept Mukto Mona members as logical, enlightened and socially alert by
all means. We are fearless in opening our minds on everything that touches our
everyday lives. We have no lust for the heavens nor are we afraid of the hell.
If telling the truth is a crime we will embrace that crime with our open arms. The
resume of Mr.Hannan does not carry any value to me if he is a dogmatist. I find
that his education, age and experience have sadly missed entrance of
enlightenment which is the most cherished goal of every human being. He has
failed to appreciate the synthesis of religion. He has sacrificed the lofty dream
of the mankind for emancipation to serve the vicious and most repugnant plans
of the illiterate mullahs. He has succumbed to fear and embraced religious
denomination to divide the humanity. His ideas of a theocratic Islamic state
are design to impose restrictions on the spirit of human freedom. He does not
walk in the wide horizon of unity in diversity. His vision is narrow and
divisive. He worships dogmas and detest deliverance. His abode is without any
openings.
We believe in the emancipation of the mankind but he wants
to imprison them in the narrow and dark alleys of religious doctrines. We plant
and nourish freedom of spirit but he preaches unsubstantiated fables. Our
difference with him seems to be eternal.
