A Muslim Frenchman went to the court complaining that his newly wed bride is not a virgin as promised by her before wedding therefore he wanted the court to annul their marriage. The honourable justice gave his verdict that virginity is not an essential part of a marriage. Whom should we blame for making morality a matter of convenience? In this age of liberalism how far should we have to go to make understanding and accommodation? Who will tell us what is the most important part of a marriage? Perhaps the time has come to realize that our age old moral traditions are becoming obsolete and useless. But our personal convenience can't hide our hypocrisy. At heart we all want a blissful life but when the question of lust and lure comes we become generous like gods.
Who can deny that sexual morality is the corner stone of any marriage? No amount of compassion and accommodation can erase this truth. An epoch is fast approaching when mankind will descend into many obnoxious styles but that will only deepen their hypocrisy. We are becoming a minority everyday to uphold and guard the statue of morality but we need to insist and emphasize the importance of sexual morality for the contemporary and posterity.
