[ALOCHONA] fair judgement???

radio news says, 3 convict eds have been sentenced to 'death by hang' and 2 other to 'life in prison' for grenade attack (attempt to murder) on mr anwar chowdhury (former british high commissioner to bd).   in which consideration, 'death' can be the verdict against 'attempt to murder'? this is our law? and may be the mastermind(s) behind this attempt is/are conducting election campaign to become representative(s)!!!
