Mohsin, Sitangshu, & others: Please know the tree you are barking up! The Islamist organization called Muslim Brotherhood originated in Egypt with the infamous Syed Qutb (a better educated man than the fraudulent Indian Maulana Moududi, Jamaat's founder) as its ideological guru. Al Qaeda's 2nd in comand, the Egyptian doctor Zawahiri comes from that ilk. The Ikhwan Cairo org and its sister Islamists may very well not have been involved in the Mumbai attack. Islamist terrorism experts are not seeing hallmarks of Al Quaeda in these attacks as of now. Members of Muslim Brotherhood or Ikhwan are not prevalent in Pakistani Islamist or Taleban groups. Hence their denial and expression of sympathy for the victims. This, of course, is being drummed by our Jamaati Jackal, S. A. Hannan ('dhurto shrigaal') as if to say that no Islamist group of any coloring is involved at all in this world-shaking carnage in Mumbai. Hannan is actually a cheerleader of Jehadi Internationalists whose e-mailed manifestoes he receives on a regular basis. Folks! These manifestoes are so oulandish and describes such inhuman, cruel plans of action against society and civilization that reading them would freeze the blood in your vein. Lately there has been a cantankerous Jamaati noise in the press and cyberspace about too much foreign interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh. A private dinner party of foreign friends at Dr. Kamal Hossain's place had been almost raided by the right-wing press the other day. May be smooth-tongued S. A. Hannan has something up his sleeves.
