[ALOCHONA] Re: Awami League's Rajakar Minister

Dear Bhai

Bangladesh was liberated by, and for the sake of, the dreams of
millions of people - not just the dream of one man.

We may argue over whether Baksal was a good idea at the time. You
will say it was visionary and noble. I would say it was anti
democratic, a betrayal of the basis of the liberation movement, a
means to one party rule etc.

But it is our nation, and its future, that comes first - not
Bongobondhu and the past.

Millions of farmers also vote for BNP.

I congratulate you for agreeing with me that Hasina is benefitting
and learning from the Caretaker Government.

More importantly, apart from talking about the obvious lets ponder
deeper things - the middle class didn't fight for independence just
to be lumped together with farmers under Baksal.

Read my posting yesterday it will give you a list of AL criminals
too.. Just in case you thought there weren't any.

Nobody is radically opposed to subsidies for distressed farmers. Why
alienate potential support by bringing up the word Baksal?

Lets see if Hasina uses the word Baksal...

Bangladesh has been a mess since 1971.
