On behalf of Shabdaguchha family, I wish you a happy New Year! I also thank you for being a long time friend of the magazine.
Every alternative year, the Shabdaguchha Poetry Award is announced. Prior to the announcement, we will announce the name of 5 nominees. This is the first time, we are requesting for open nominations. Anyone can nominate up to three poets published in Shabdaguchha for the last two years.
Here is the process:
1. Nominate up to three poets published in Shabdaguchha from January 2007 to January 2009.
2. You are not allowed to nominate your name and the editor of the magazine.
3. We will accept the nomination from January 1, 2009 to April 1, 2009.
4. Only five nominees (the ones appear the most) will be announced on April 14, 2009 as the nominees of the 2009 Shabdaguchha Poetry Award.
5. The winner will be announced on December 16, 2009
6. The winner will received $200 and a crest from Shabdaguchha.
