RE: [mukto-mona] Re-visit Mr. S.A Hannan's 'civil war' doctrine vis-a-vis "Mo...

Bangladesh adopted democracy based on the principles of liberty, sovereignty of the people, secularism and the transfer of power through free and fair elections. In 1988 by the 8th amendment of constitution they inserted Islam as a state religion of Bangladesh.

The opiate of the masses of Bangladesh has little to do with Islam as state religion. Right wing and fundamentalist politicians are using the ingredients in the packaged system of beliefs, which has fear of creator, death and heavenly reward after death. There is no power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by religion and morality. Jamaat-e-Islami and other collaborators of Islamic fundamentalist formed death squads [ al badr and al shams].

Well funded Islamist political parties are implementing comprehensive master plan to advance Islamist ideology. They are trying to remove the history of country's culture and liberation war, where as the previous government covertly listening them by recognizing their irrational demands. If AL says that they will do it tomorrow, then their tomorrow will never come. They shouldn't not change themself again to gain the validation of those who have not earned the rightful honor to be your Islamic judge. You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great.

Most likely, Jamat and its ideological guru Mr S.A Hannan will influence the Saudi Government, Arab countries, Palestinians, and selected members of OIC to exert pressure
on Hasina government to refrain from trying the Jamat war criminals for committing genocide in 1971.

Bangladesh's poverty makes it a slave to the Arab and Islamist imperialism. Bangladesh needs the Arabs, the Arabs do not need BD. Thus emulating the Arabs in dress, food, culture, tradition is a highlight to demonstrate that Bengalis are Arabising themselves. Has AL the guts to say no to Arabisation of BD? I doubt it.

If the Saudi Government and other rich Arab nations, where a large number of BD workers are, threaten to deport, and /or to stop hiring workrts from BD, I am quite certain
Hasina's AL will retreat from its election promise to seek justice for the victims 1971 genocide.

Therefore, I consider Mr Asghar's doubt to be highly justifiable.

Defeating Jamat in election is not the defeat of Islamists goal of creating a Islamic BD. Partcipating in the election process and hypocritically seeking Islamisation through democratic process are just two weapons used by Jamat and other Islamists. The other weapons are: perpetrating terror, plunder, murder, war, deception, lies...

Since Jamat has lost the election: the other options are now open to them. BD should prepare itself to witness more Islamist terrorism, more of Bangla Bhais...

>
> Delay in trial does not mean the end of our aspiration for trial. International and national situation that barred the trial so far could only be possible through organizing determined-public opinion. That opinion has at last taking a shape to create a national consensus for the trial of the War Criminals and the Rajakers. A favorable world opinion is also created. Hope the new government of Sheikh Hasina would soon take all legal actions for the trial of the Rajakers and War Criminals in country's Special Tribunal and also try in the International War Tribunal under the UNO in appropriate cases.

> The ball has started rolling. Let us work at home and abroad to create tremendous public opinion so that the long awaited trial is held and the criminals get their due. Instead of labeling blame on the politicians we as a nation must create an atmosphere which would help the political government to translate the hope of the people into reality.
