Tareq caused the debacle of the BNP in the first place by exercising
illegitimate and undemocratic power. He pushed BNP veterans aside.

Tareq himself provided the biggest ammunition for AL. Tareq himself
was the biggest cause for swing voters to turn away from BNP.

Tareq could never defend himself in public other than grinning and saying 'Catch me if you can'.

Moeen is no Indian puppet. He may be flawed but he is a patriotic soldier (they exist in Bangladesh) who stepped in when civillians were disgracing the country.

Maybe Tariq is tied with Daoud Ibrahim. There is no evidence why we
should not think so.

You think he didn't confess? You think there is no evidence? There
is. And it is being used against Khaleda and Tareq. Fortunately.

A corrupt person can stand against torture. Especially if he thinks
he is a King and that his Daddy's name will soon save him. And
that his people are dumb enough to make him PM soon.

It makes no difference if he - or Khaleda or Hasina - want to stay or go. They are fighting for their own interest and will stay or go accordingly. Khaleda was packed and ready to go to Saudi but Hasina, in the US, couldn't keep quiet for that week (hai reh!) in the US and saved Khaleda.

So Tareq told a worker in Jessore to have a legal income. Wow! Maybe
we should replace Aesop's Fables with Tareq's Fables. This is the
evidence that he is THE MAN? This reminds me of all those metric paash BNP MPs who started quoting Tareq in 2006... Whats the civillian equivalent of bootlickers?

TAREQ'S GREATEST FAULT WAS THAT HE FORGOT WHAT KIND OF MAN HIS FATHER
REALLY WAS.

But thats common in Bangladesh. You know - mother keeps the kids
close to the mother's family and keeps the kids away from the
father's family (whether the father is dead or alive). Maybe if
Khaleda kept Tareq close to his father's family he would have turned
out better. Instead she drove him into the arms of Iskander and
Biskander types.

Tariq is no Mahathir. I think Mahathir can read and write English. There could be other differences too : )

Khaleda and Tareq, just like Hasina, made deals with the CTG.

If BNP is to play it's full role then it needs to move on fast. AL is in power now but it is the party that first breaks aways from the nethri system that will be truly democratic, truly visionary and truly lead.

প্রায় দু'শতাধিক

মতবিনিময় সভায় অংশ নেন।
ছয়টি বিভাগীয় সাংগঠনিক

জাতীয় নির্বাচনে জামায়াত
নির্ভরশীলতার কারণে ফল
বিপর্যয় হয়েছে। অনেক
এলাকায় বিএনপির মধ্যে অ
ন্তর্কোন্দল সৃষ্টি কর
েছে জামায়াত। তৃণমূল
নেতাদের মতে, একটি
সম্মানজনক সমাধানের
মাধ্যমে বিএনপি'র

বলেন, দেশী-বিদেশী ষড়যন্ত্র
ের অংশ হিসেবে প্রশাসনের
পক্ষপাতিত্বের পাশাপাশি
শীর্ষ নেতাদের ভুল
সিদ্ধান্ত, বেইমানি, দলের
একটি অংশের ষড়যন্ত্র,
সংস্কারপন্থি

্থীদের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে
মেনে নিতে পারেনি তৃণমূল
নেতাকর্মীরা। চুয়াডাঙ্গ
ার আলমডাঙ্গা উপজেলা
বিএনপি সম্পাদক মজিবুর র
হমান বলেন, বেশির ভাগ প্রার
্থীর সঙ্গে স্থানীয় কর্মী-
সমর্থকদের যà§&lsqauo;গাযà§&lsqauo;গ
বিচ্ছিন্নতা, প্রার্থী নির
্বাচনে ভুল à¦"

সীমাবদ্ধ। গত দুই বছরে

হয়নি। উপজেলা নির্বাচনে

ঠনকে গণমুখী করে তুলতে
হবে। ফেনীর কয়েকটি উপজেলা
বিএনপি'র সিনিয়র নেতাদের
দাবি, জেলায় দলের ভাইস চেয়ার
ম্যান মেজর (অব) সাঈদ
এস্কান্দারের হস্তক্ষেপ
বন্ধ করতে হবে। বরগুনা পৌর
বিএনপি সম্পাদক আনà§&lsqauo;য়ার

মন্ত্রী-এমপিদের বিরুদ্ধে
দুর্নীতির অভিযà§&lsqauo;গ একেবারে

যথেচ্ছ ব্যবহার করেছেন।
তবে সত্যতার চেয়ে প্রচার

ক্ষেত্রে লঘু অপরাধে বিশেষ
আদালতে গুরুতর শাস্তি দেয়া
হয়েছে। চুয়াডাঙ্গার
আলমডাঙ্গা পৌর বিএনপি সভ
াপতি খন্দকার হামিদুল
ইসলাম আজম বলেন, তারেক র
হমান দলকে সাংগঠনিকভাবে

তৃণমূল নেতাদের মধ্যে
তীব্রভাবে তার অভাব অনুভূত
হয়েছে। তিনি যে সাংগঠনিকভ
াবে দলকে গà§&lsqauo;ছাতে শুরু কর
েছিলেন সেভাবে হলে

এদিকে গতকাল মতবিনিময় সভা
চলাকালে তৃণমূল নেতারা একে

চাপিয়ে দেয়া কমিটি মেনে
নেবে না তৃণমূল নেতাকর্মীর
