[ALOCHONA] Re: Khaleda sought Tk 5cr, claims BNP man's son

I am a great fan of Khaleda. With her charismatic personality (and sex appeal), she had saved BNP many a times in the past from deep crisis. But at present she has become a liability for the party. She, her sons and close relatives have brought the party (which was once the largest political party of the country) to the brink of disaster by their corrupt practices. Only Allah and she (by quitting politics) can save the party from yet another crisis.

Unfortunately, these political parties never practiced democracy within the party so apparently no alternate leadership could grow within the party. But I really salute this young man who had the courage and guts to expose the top leaders of his party to press. Hats off and my vote to him if he is still a mayoral candidate.

Regards to all

She asked for Tk 5 crore for election (expenses). But I am no (Mosaddek Ali) Falu or (Mirza) Abbas," Chowdhury Irad Ahmed Siddiqui told a news conference Monday in Dhaka. "I went to see her. I expressed my interest (in running for Dhaka mayor)," said the son of BNP standing committee member Chowdhury Tanvir Ahmed Siddiqui.
