1. The "two nation theory" was not installed by the British. The two nation theory was developed and pursued by Jinnah and his cronies. If the British agreed with Gandhi on thing, it was that the entire population of India is one people, and should not be divided based on their race, color, or religion. Jinnah, however, had other plans. He realized that in an unified "Bharat", Gandhi would be revered and followed, and not him. Jinnah wanted a separate land for the Muslims, ruled by Muslims. That's precisely why, Jinnah is the founder of modern communal politics in the Indian sub-continent. If you have any doubts about this, please read the following:
a) Akber Ahmed's "Jinnah, Pakistan, and Islamic Identity: The search for Saladin"
b) Panigrahi's "India's Partition: The History of Imperialism in Retreat"
c) Wolpert's "Jinnah of Pakistan"
d) Yousuf's "Hidden Facts Behind British India's Freedom: A Scholarly Look into Allama Mashraqi and Quaid-e-Azam's Political Conflict"
All these books, as well as Jinnah's own letters and publications support that the Two Nation Theory was his thing. As a matter of fact, the British advised Gandhi and Jinnah against the Two Nation Theory. If you ever get a chance, check out the British East India Archive at the British Library.
2. Netaji's rising was a much later phenomenon than that of Gandhi's. Netaji was an elected member of the Indian National Congress, and he supported and advocated for Nazi ideologies in the Indian Sub-continent. He met with Hitler and Emperor Hirohito, and sought help to fight the British. In return, he was ready to establish totally fascist rule in the Indian sub-continent. You make it sound like Netaji was a "good man" who would have been better than Gandhi, who "obviously" was "installed by the British". Netaji was a nazi-sympathizer and a fascist, and known history and common sense tells me that Gandhi was NOT installed by the British to "screw over" the Muslims in the sub-continent. The Muslims got the sticky end of the deal because of Jinnah and the other Muslim League leaders.
3. Lord Mountbatten was not "rewarded" the governorship of India by Gandhi. That title and authority was the prerogative of the Queen of England. Mountbatten was the Viceroy of Burma, when he was assigned by the Queen to India to oversee the transition of power from the British to the Indians.
4. No one kicked anyone away from the power, especially the Muslims. The Indian Congress during the partition had, in its leadership, prominent Muslims like Abbas Khan, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, and Asaf Ali. In the current Indian National Congress Central Committee, there are Muslim leaders like Mohsina Kidwai, Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Saifuddin Soz. So, your assertion that the Indian congress, as well as the British, kicked away the Muslims and that the situation hasn't changed is factually wrong.
In order to become a part of the fast moving world, we need to think progressively and act strategically. We cannot distort history, facts, data, to advance our ideas and expect that the rest of the world is going to follow and respect us. Before we can join the world community, our thinking needs to be worldly, and not be stuck in racial and communal ideologies. Wouldn't you agree?

Dear All,
Once upon a time, our previous generation screwed up all muslims of "Nikhil Bharat" spreading "two Nation Theory". Even though it was installewd solely by the colonial power jut keep the last grip on the land that was just going away from them by the thrust of "Netaji Shubhas Chandra Basu" and by the affect of "Second World War". Gandhi and Zinnah were installed by the British to decimate the revolutionary power of Netaji. Created a serious rift between Hindus and Muslims to solidify the "Divide and Rule" policy. Gandhi rewarded British providing Mount Baten as the Governor General of India. Muslims lost both "Am" and "Chala". British kicked them away because they could not do any favor to them because they were just the beggers of no means the land. Indian leaders manipulated the politics in such a way that they kept 100% of all and kicked away their trouble maker musalman enemies, whose upper chambers were totally vacant. It seems that it is still now remained in the same condition. No improvements are happening. Blindness and meaningless pride are stone waling all improvements. Did anybody think about all these? These trouble maker brainless musolmans (by the way I was born of the same) are still doing the same dirty practices that I hate by all means. Need to understand, need to stop all these, need to try to be players with all, rather than the king of woolu Bon. This is all coming from my frustrations. Can we come to sense and be part of the world population, giving away the isolationism of the crudest form? My two cents.
Thanks ,
KR
