RE: [ALOCHONA] Re: Pakistan: Swat girl flogging video fake, official says

Without study law how people comments here and there? Sharia is Islamic code of law. Codified law you will find in Germany, French , Japan etc. as they have inherited from past of their own civilization

Kindly you all first learn about how the present law evolved then it will be easy to understand Islamic Sharia Law

Mr. SA Hannan, what happened in the Taliban controlled land of the Swat Valley is unthinkable to happen in this world. This is very sad that Pakistan and it's inhabitants of Swat Valley will be subject to sharia law which reflects such brutality. I really wants to know not just if this incident really took place or not but more importantly if this really could happened under Sharia law?

In your own comments on Swat Valley incident, you said:

Everything can be made up by acting and digital camera photography

Your comment was in support of Pakistan and Taliban authority rejection of this barbaric tortures video tape as phony propaganda. Mr. SA Hannan, trust me, for the first time I really wish you are comments turn right otherwise my faith will have difficulty, especially if this is allowed to happen under Sharia rule.

Mr. SA Hannan, you seems to share your religious opinion here and there often, will you please help me to understand, please!

  • Is there any country in the world which implemented Sharia as the only law of the land
  • Does Taliban's follow authentic Islami Sharia Law?
  • Does Sharia law allow married or unmarried women to be beaten if she found away from her house such as shopping mall without her husband or accompanied by a male member of her family.
  • If the Sharia law really does allow beating women for this reason then can you please locate the law  in its entirety.

  • Does Sharia law allows girls to go to regular school not the religious school

I truly feel sad for people of Pakistan and Swat in particular who now been lawfully controlled by Taliban and their so-called Islamic Sharia law. I pray to almighty Allah to save the women of Pakistan and Afghanistan from Taliban brutality in the name of Islam.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) – Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari signed into law Monday a peace deal for the nation's violence-plagued Swat Valley, according to a presidential spokesman.
Women wearing burqas in North West Frontier Province.
The deal implements Islamic law, or sharia, in the Swat Valley region of North West Frontier Province.
Last week, pro-Taliban cleric Sufi Mohammad announced he was pulling out of a peace deal for Swat Valley, saying the government was not serious about implementing Islamic law, or sharia, in the region.
Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Saturday the peace deal remained intact.
Mohammad brokered a cease-fire in February between the Pakistani government and his son-in-law, Maulana Fazlullah, who commands the Taliban in Swat Valley.
Although details of the deal were not immediately available, it was understood that the area will come under the Taliban's strict interpretation of sharia.
The central government has little control in the area, but it launched an intense military offensive in late July 2008 to flush out militants from areas of the North West Frontier Province.
As retaliation for the military presence, the Taliban carried out a series of deadly attacks, beheadings and destruction of girls' schools. They also continued to gain ground, setting up checkpoints throughout the area.
Pakistan is under enormous pressure to control the militants within its borders. The militants are blamed for launching attacks in neighboring Afghanistan, where U.S. and NATO forces are fighting militants.

Swat Valley was once one of Pakistan's biggest tourist destinations. It is near the Afghanistan border and is 186 miles (300 kilometers) from the capital, Islamabad.

Swat girl flogging video fake, official says

By Fasihur Rehman Khan - April 05, 2009

Islamabad: A top government official of Pakistan's Taliban-controlled
Swat region has made a surprise claim that the amateur video clip shown
by television channels of a 17-year-old girl being flogged was
fabricated, media reports say.

Malakand Division Commissioner Syed Mohammad Javed was quoted by local
media as saying that the incident shown in the video clip had not
happened in the Swat valley and that the accents of the people heard
speaking in the video were not those of the region.

"This fabricated video clip is a conspiracy to sabotage the Swat peace
deal between the Taliban and the NWFP government," the commissioner said
after his visit to the Kala Kalay village where the incident is alleged
to have taken place.

Swat Taliban Spokesman Muslim Khan echoed his sentiments, claiming the
tape was the handiwork of pro-West organisations.
