This is just an emotional outburst of a good human being from outside the domain of the conflict.
Let's think about reality.
Israelis left Gaza in 2005, and gave its control to the people of Gaza. What did they do with the newly granted freedom? They hold an election, and brought the radical group, Hamas, which does not believe in the existence of Israel, to power, instead of the moderate group, Palestinian Authority, working on establishing Palestinian State at that time.
I was wondering what people of Gaza wanted from the election. It was obvious to me at the time that most people in Gaza must also agree with Hamas on the non-existence of Israel.
Naturally, Hamas started to prepare for the ultimate war, and, started to spend most of their revenue on building hundreds of rockets and underground tunnels, instead of housing, school, college, and business. This war was not unplanned or unexpected, and people of Gaza cannot completely escape their complicity to this crisis.
Now, compare the plights of people in the West Bank, controlled by Palestinian Authority; they are completely unaffected, meaning this war is not against all Palestinians or against Palestine; it's against Hamas ideology and its supporters. So, this war cannot end until one side gets completely annihilated.
Our emotion might bring a recess, but not an end to this crisis.
