Last evening (17/11/07) two of my neighbours came to my apartment for collecting donations for the cyclone victims. One of them is a renowned physician and the other works in a private bank. I gave them some money and then became enraged and astonished when they gave a receipt of Jamati Islami.
After they left, I turned on the TV and watched the news of Liberation War Sector Commanders demanding trial of war criminals. Many newspapers reported it in today's issue. It looks very ironic when you see the sector commanders of liberation war who are supposed to act like guardians of the nation is running after their political vendetta in a situation when thousands of people died, millions are homeless and crying for urgent relief.
I request the sector commanders and other freedom fighters to try to read the mind of the general mass. In the last 36 years, many of them play roles which suited their personal, at best, political benefits forgetting their role as guardians of the nation. I request them not to repeat that role again.
