Re: [ALOCHONA] Few Questions

This is not going to easy and I know that. As I am purely an ordinary conscious Citizen my views would be neutral after I get some concrete answers. If nothing thenn we cant form any opinion and then as you say we will till eternity hear of this only during Election time as had been during this 36 years.
I sincerely hope that Gen(rtd) Ibrahim who spear headed the idea and action, plus all sector Commanders, all FFs(Not 16th Div FFs) and Citizen in general would be wise to defer this activity till after an elected Goverment is formed .Some can challenge , that this being interim Govt., it  may not have the legal status to initiate the trials.
Also the same group of people would know details of my question, as would Barrister Kamal Hossain as he was with the Late Sheikh after his release in both London and India. It is believed that international donors wanted that there should be no more blood shed.Late Indira Gandhi who initiated support for Bangladesh and the main war along with Indian army had a stake and that was her popularity-- after defeat of Pak Army her popularity was increased and she won a landslide victory- I remember that from Tv news and different newspapers. But she also is the key figure for release of  Pak Army then POW here-- because again international image and fact that she didnt want a permanent enmity-she was satisfied that Pak Army was defeated.
Question now is about Collaborators within the country that sided the Army--some I heard had been hunted and killed--those within certain locality. Many had escaped during early December 1971-- because they did understand that time was up and soon Independence will be a reality; those who couldnt escape was hiding deep within the Country. Some government steps were taken but then the task got diverted due to priority in other fields.
People say they have definite proofs andn a news channel in UK mentioned that they have video footages of the culprits(some staying in UK)-- why then was the delay to obtain those and place as proof in the courts. Any answer on this????????
You should also continue with you efforts and ideas--like priority Elections and also placing good Candidates with details for people to choose.
Good Luck.

I very much appreciate you that you take this initiative to close this issue for all and for good.  I hope that you become sucessful in finding the truth.  But the main problem is both sides of the people are so blind or can not think outside of the box,  and real truth might not be good for others and they will diminish the real truth by name calling, or other characters.  So there is a real danger.

I hope you find the real truth of your questions.  But my prediction is the that we will hear another 200 years who is Rajakar and who is not, who is the Father of Bangladesh and who is not.  I do not want to discourage you what you are trying to find and keep doing what you are doing but outcome might not be so easy because we manipulate results per our convenient and can not take the truth if it hurts me and have an negative efffect on my believe.

You are very correct in yr statements made below. However this excercise is not to blame party or person but to understand that system/management are done by people and to err is human.System/managemments can be changed to fit/solve the problem- but this keeps on coming back mtime and again and each party brings it up at convenient Election time and forget.
These answers when received(and I bet we wont get them all) can be complied to see first from a broad angle and then find,(no blame game) a way to peace and prosperity- a little clear understanding is required to move on.
Also I am hundred percent in agreement with you that Elections be held first then those affected and or elected Government if aware of certain facts of individuals can lode a case and the Goverment will ensure that a free fair trial is ensured i.e due process and unbiased verdict obtained in each case.
If any of the Razakars/Al-Badrs/colloborators etc happen to get elected then on conviction his post will be declared null and void and a bye elction will find a replacement.
We need to move on-- but we also must get facts and then sort out once and for good.
Therefore if you have or you know if any person haave some answers to the questions asked please do contribute to help the country be in peace and prosperity.

The real truth is that evil forces are working behind the scene to keep our heads into the mud, so we as a nation can not stand up and live in a prosperous life. I have asked in so many emails that Bangladeshi should move away from those unproductive discussion and let Bangladesh Govt take care this national issue for all and for good.

Bangladeshi should focus what we have ahead in opportunities, difficulties, changing the lives of 150 million people. Please tell me if we convict all the war criminals and execute them today, will it give extra food to 150 Million people? I am not asking to give them a free ride but lets Bangladesh Govt takes care the issue and do not make this issue for your next election issue/campaign.

Nobody can help me if I do not help myself.

I hope I was able to clarify my point of view.

Dear All,

As an ordinary Citizen I would ask you the followings: (Let me clear
that am not Politician and wish to learn to get a clear picture of
all parties). You and or any person who would volunteer to educate
us would be appreciated: - WE MUST LEARN THE TRUTH.
1.LateSheikh Munjibur Rahman when released from Pakistan came via
London and India. Is it true that in both places he was briefed
about Bangladesh and some sort of agreement was made in respect of
POWs; Collaborators/ Rajakars etc--
2.0n arrival Bangladesh he undertook two important task-(a) plans
for getting recognition from other countries- as foreign aid was
vital for the country and (b)surrendering of arms that was still
under possession of FFs-- but why didnt he "NOT"make attempt to have
them listed and then place them according to merit n qualification
to the Armed forces/Police/ BDR/Ansar etc-- they needed jobs too???-
If he did then ARMS surrender would have been done faster. Instead
Rakhi Bahini was formed but no FFs in it.Why???
Till date there is no concrete plans to do this rehabilitation
programme for FFs and not steps taken to sort out the FFs and 16th
Div FFs-- 16th are those on 16th after independence seized left over
arms of Pak Bahini and became FFs.Why?
3.I dont remember the exact year; but either late 1972 or early 1973-
Late Mujib went to Lahore and sat by the side of late Zulfiqar
Bhutto on the same stage(was that an International Peace conference
or something-- I saw that on BTV -- and later both stood up holding
hands high up on the air and chanting slogan- cannot remember now).
How could late Mujib agree to do that when ZABhutto was identified
as the great enemy responsible for the war and mass killings of
Bangalis???? ????
4.In 1980 when Hasina returned from exile to take over the helms of
AL she as reported in TV and newspaper went to Moghbazar residence
of Golam Azam- there was no concrete details ever given but a
statement given that they discussed for development of peace and
democracy-- any ideas or any websites from which actual infos could
be obtained???? ? What actually did happen.??? Why did she meet
Golam Azam the number 1 Collaborator? ?
5.1986 Hasina participated in Elections-- JP won and formed the
Government while Hasina AL and JI and perhaphs communist party were
the opposition am I right???????
4.Why AL in power 1996-2001 didnt do- (a) rehabilitation programme
for FFs; (b)initiate cases against Collaborators and (c)initiate
case against the Murderers of late Sheikh Mujib???????

The answers to the above would greatly help to understand why till
date their is so much political conflicts-- political conflicts is
in every country-- look around India,Nepal, SriLanka, Thailand and
now Burma-- and again each of these trying to solve their problems--
hope we too are sincere in our attempts. What do you all think?????
Please stop fighting between yourselves in these forums and try
gather knowledge and be patient.
Hope to hear soon from you or any other knowledgeable member.
Badrul Islam
