RE: [ALOCHONA] Let's woke up.........OIC

Dear Mr. Ramjan,

The answer to your first question is a resounding NO.

If you are thinking that a common religion is sufficient grounds for forming a single political entity/state you are not taking into account historical facts.

The problems among different groups within Islam arose very early in its history. Please do not forget that 3 of the first 4 caliphs were assassinated.
It was none other than Hazrat Abu Bakr's own son who killed Hazrat Usman. For this act he was rewarded with a governorship. Hazrat Ayesha vehemently
opposed Hazrat Ali and eventually he too was murdered. The history of subsequent centuries is full of blood and mayhem and beginning of the Shia-Sunni divide.

You can see very well the problems in Iraq between Shias and Sunnis. Kurds are unwanted everywhere. The list of such transgressions is very long.

Religion can never be the foundation for a long lasting state. There is very little in common between a Saudi and a Bengali muslim. We differ in our cultural, linguistic and moral vision of the world. The very fact that over 30 islamic states exist currently bears testimony to the fact that economic and cultural differences take precedence over religious identity.

I agree with you on one point, we DO need to wake up and face reality.

Best wishes,

Reza

Subject: [ALOCHONA] Let's woke up.........OIC

Is it possible to create one state, one administration, one political identity based on basic ideology within the political geography of OIC  ?

Then we would be in the same command like USA.

We will have bigger economy.

We will have bigger defense system with bigger military.

We will have command on international issues.

We can shape the world as USA is doing.

Our economy will boost up with greater   market.

We will have VETO Power in the United Nations.

We can easily solve the Palestinian problem.

So, let's woke up
