[vinnomot] CTG please help others storm affected areas in Bangladesh besides the SIDR (A courtesy of CBd, USA)

Dear All,

 

I like to share my appreciation for the great local and international communities for their help in SIDR affected people.  I know that it might be tough to coordinate and make efficient to reach 100% help to the cyclone affected people, but I believe that people are working hard to make it right and efficient.  Time to time we may hear that help was not delivered in certain areas or to people, but we should not discredit the whole participation, operation or the effort in this crucial time.  We ought to advise them how to make it right and to be efficient in now and future.

 

Now I am hearing that there are many areas in Bangladesh that are affected by storm but those areas do not fall into the Cyclone SIDR areas but this storm has destroyed the crops for the farmers.  Those storm affected people has lost most of their corps at this time and are not getting any help since they are not in the exact cyclone affected areas.  I will urge CTG to look into this issue and please find a way to help those storm affected people in others areas too.

 

I was urged to call CTG in this regards since I heard their complain and no body is coming forward to help them to feed in this crucial time. Since we are busy in cyclone affected areas, we may forget them if we do not pay attention immediately.

 

I will urge all to compile a list of areas except cyclone affected people who are also affected by the storm at the cyclone time.  I can tell Munshigonj's farmers are affected by the strom since all their corps has been destroyed by the storm.  CTG, please do not collect the loan money that was invested in corps which has been destroyed by the current storm.

 

I will urge CTG, local and international communities to come up with a budget to help those affected people.  Please share this email, so we can send CTG a list of affected areas for redistribution the SIDR Fund or add more funds for the storm affected areas.
