[vinnomot] Turmoil in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Burma & Nepal have helped China & India to be economical power house

All,

This might sound pessimistic or I am complaining about myself.  I admire what India & China have done for their countries in term of investment, creating more high skilled jobs and become a outsource hub for the world.  This did not happen overnight,   they had to plan for years and spend years to implement their policies and this was possible because of their calm political atmosphere.  People in those countries are busy to make money, busy making changes of their social value,  and less on talking who is Rajakar or who is not, less on disrespect others who is opponent,  less on who is in power or not, etc.  Problem starts when people act like a Government,  its like very body is "Raja" in Bangladesh.

Now more than 150 Billion dollars foreign investment goes to India and China every year because of calm political atmosphere, good infrastructure,  good communication system and higher educated people.  If political atmosphere in Bangladesh was calm for last 15 years and had less corruption in the system, we could get part of this (US$150 Billion) foreign investment in Bangladesh (we may get few dollars now but its very tiny to compare to the size of the country).  We could implement many good projects,  develop good infrastructure,  create more educated workforce,  increase buying power of the people and so on.

The people of Bangladesh is much involved with politics, power, tendency to get credits quickly,  thought process is like its my way or high way, enjoy personal or verbal attacking to others,  think she or she knows too much,  not respecting others for good works,  and I can go on and on.  But the bottom line is that we are the blame for not improving ourselves as long as the country is concern.

The most disturbing thing is that I am hearing now that next Bangladesh Govt may reverse everything what CTG has done.  The reason for reversing all the policies will be that new Govt will not get credit for the good works or benefits from those implemented policies.  I still think that people are in power and they have to use it put right people to run the country who have vision, understanding the international business & politics, who can lay down next 5 years plan for Bangladesh to move forward.  We can argue that most of our people in Bangladesh are uneducated,  but I think that we can not survive by giving this excuse anymore.

I hope that I was able to clarify how turmoil, political unrest in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Burma & Nepal have helped India & China where others countries could get a big piece of foreign investment because of low cost skilled manpower.

Note:  I have advised CTG on various policies to update and improved to expand export market in Bangladesh.
