The attached article is reprinted from BANGLADESH: A
souvenir on the first anniversary of Victory Day,
December 16, 1972. It was also republished in PROBAHO
(First Year, Second Issues – November, 1990 – January,
1991), a quarterly Magazine, used to publish from
Chicago.

Anyhow, the article was originally written (in
Bangla) by my late father Nurul Islam Patwari and
translated by Kazi Mazammil Huq.
