I feel Pakistan is reeling under the leaderships which does not want people's ameliorations rather than playing on the raw sentiments of the people in order to perpetuate their hold on the power structure. The result brought on the one side large accummulation of wealth for a few and acute deprivation of the large chunk of the population. Military distatorships became stooge in the hands of western power and caused further usurpation of the vital resources and democratic aspirations. The nexus of feudalism, milatary dictators and clergy became galringly nauseating in that beleagured nation. Benazir although with her so many failings she this time wanted to salvage the sagging democratic hope of her countrymen. But enemy of democracy and peopla's emancipation snuffed that hope with the dasdardly assassination of Benzir. I condemn such inhuman acts. Asad, Mumbai
