[mukto-mona] STORY OF THE "STICK-BOTS" OF BANGLADESH

STORY OF THE "STICK-BOTS" OF BANGLADESH

WHO ARE "STICK-BOTS" ?
"Stick-Bot" stands for the "STICKING BOTTOM POLITICAL LEADERS". They
are the persons who somehow capture power, at times through democratic
election, at times through manipulated election and at times by the
power of the army with the blessings of the number one notorious
country of the world. Once in power, they do all sorts of unfair
things in order to stay in power for the entire lives and to keep the
chairs reserved for their predecessors. Lots of such leaders may be
seen in some dark (uncivilized) regions of Africa and semi-civilized
regions of Asia. In today's' discussion however, we shall keep the
canvass limited in the Indian sub-continent only.

STICKY-BOTTOM LEADERS IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN :
The countries, India and Pakistan of the ex-Indian subcontinent got
the scope of exercising democracy in 1947. Since then democratic
elections have been held regularly in India, in which the elected
party remains in power for certain times, then arrange election. If
they win in this election they stay for another term, otherwise they
handover the power to the winning party. Till today (January 2008)
there has not been any deviation of this noble system in India. This
indicates that India is blessed not to have the cursed "Stick-bots" in
their land.

What happened in case of Pakistan ? Gen. Ayub Khan captured power with
his sticky bottom in 1958. Then he formed political party, 'invented'
the so-called "Basic Democracy" and polluted the system of election
only with the intention of remaining in power. In Basic Democracy the
electorates were destined to elect a number of representatives (total
no. 1,20,000), and then these elected persons were to elect the
President. Ayub Khan knew quite well that it won't be difficult for
him to bribe this number of persons or to manipulate the result of the
election arranged with this little number of voters. However, as soon
as there were people's movement against him in both the wing, where
the one in the eastern wing become stupendous (Unsattarer Gonoandolon)
he had to lift his bottom. In 1971 Pakistan was bifurcated and
independent state Bangladesh came into being.

STICKY-BOTTOM LEADERS IN BANGLADESH :
Following the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father
of the nation by a number of army-personnel in 1975, Ziaur Rahman
captured power, with the 'vitamin' of USA and blessings of the then
army. In Bangladesh Ziaur Rahman appeared as the first "stick-bot".
He formed not one but many political parties, arranged manipulated
elections in which he handed power only to himself. There were many
movements and agitations against him, but he could overpower all by
his shrewdness. It was understood that this man would not give up
power "till death separates his sticky-bottom from the chair". To the
great fortune of democracy of Bangladesh he died in 1982, thus
creating the record of life-long president. With this there arose new
hope for democracy in people's minds. But then Ershad, another
"sticky-bot" rose to power. Following Zia's suite this man also formed
many political parties, arranged manipulated elections and remained
tightly stuck with the chair. The people's movement of 1990 (Nabbaier
Gonoandolon) could somehow dilute the US adhesive and the man tumbled
down inside a security prison.

CONCEPT OF THE CARETAKER GOVERNMENT :
In view of the tremendous greed of the political parties, the concept
of a transition-time government known as caretaker government was
devised. In this system the election was to be held not under the
ruling government, but an interim government, formed with neutral
persons. The first election under the caretaker government was held in
1991, and Begum Khaleda Zia of BNP came to power. All were hopeful
that probably Bangladesh has been relieved off the curse of the
stick-bots once for all. After all Khaleda was not from the army and
she was a women.

GULPING OF CARETAKER CONCEPT BY THE STICK-BOT :
In 1996 the people of Bangladesh discovered that Khaleda was a worse
stick-bot. She herself was elected under caretaker government, but
after her tenure she disagreed to hold election under such a
government. Amidst people's protest she arranged the election under
her government and won in cent per cent seats. But the "lady
stick-bot" could not stay in power for even a month. She was ousted,
fresh election was held under caretaker government and Sheikh Hasina,
daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman came to power. After her
tenure she arranged election under the caretaker government. It was
alleged that she posted her own men in the caretaker government. But
the result of the election proved that she did not, because in this
election Khaleda Zia of BNP rose to power. 2007 was the time for
another election. Khaleda formed the caretaker government, but quite
shamelessly she did it with her own men. There were vehement protests,
but she was determined to arrange it same because she had already
prepared the blue-print for the win of her party.

FALL OF THE LADY-STACKBOT :
The people who fought so relentlessly for democracy since 1965 could
no more tolerate it. There were heavy protests. Khaleda engaged the
law enforcing agencies to exercise all sorts of atrocities against the
"democracy-loving people", where Bangladesh Awami League was in the
leadership. We read, hear and see in Cinema about "Satyagraha", staged
by Mahatma Gandhi against the British in India. But this time we
witnessed a more powerful Satyagraha by the workers of Awami League in
Dhaka. The members of the law enforcing authorities came to kill the
leaders of Awami league and for that reason were beating incessantly
with the large bamboo supplied by China (It is the country that played
hostile role during our liberation war). The workers of Awami League
literally formed human walls around them and devoted themselves to
death for the safety of their leaders. The future generations of the
Bangalees would find reasons to feel pride and delight to see the real
pictures (video footage) depicting the love and sacrifice of the
Democracy-loving Bangladeshis and Awami League workers in this
Satyagraha. Those who find it hard to believe the sacrifice of the
Awami League workers in the liberation struggle and war, and t times
cite those as "stories" should form the real idea after witnessing
these scenes.

EXTENDED CARETAKER GOVERNMENT :
The scene of severe atrocities of the power-hungry lady attracted the
attention of the entire world. Humanity won over brutality, the army
appeared as rescuer and the sticky-bottom lady entered in jail. After
this lady poisoned the concept of caretaker government, in 2007 we got
the extended caretaker government, which is still working for a free
and fair election. In addition to election this government has taken
many excellent steps, which we believe, would be of immense help for
this country. This government is highly after corruption. Because of
their steps against corruption we came to know how corrupt the lady,
her sons, leaders and workers of her party were. Many of them are now
in jail, waiting for justice.

BANGLADESH AWAMI LEAGUE AND BANGLADESH NATIONALIST PARTY :
The two top leaders of AL and BNP are in jail in charge of corruption.
The other top leader Ershad of Jatiyo Party is free, even though he
and his party also championed in corruption. It is often said that he
got this preference because of his ex-army status and connection with
USA. Immediately after he was ousted, it was published in the
newspapers that he transferred vast amount of money to US bank. There
were demands for inquiry, but nothing happened due to mysterious or
well known reasons. At present Sheikh Hasina of AL is in jail in
charge of corruption. There is nothing wrong in trying her and she may
be punished if found guilty. That definitely would discredit her as a
human being, but as a leader she would remain in a much brighter
position than the stick-bots. There happened nothing in her career
that could make her to be categorized as "the shameless stick-bot",
which Zia, Ershad and Khaleda were and are.

Ziaur Rahman (BNP) established record by being the first "stick-bot"
of Bangladesh.
Ershad (JP) became the second Stick-bot of this land.
Khaleda made several records like (01) the first civilian stick-bot,
(02) the first lady stick-bot and finally, (02) two times stick-bot,
in the history of Bangladesh.

Let the electorates of Bangladesh show their intelligence by
eliminating the cursed "Sticky Bottom Persons" in the election of
2008.

IF BNP OR BJP WINS IN 2008 ELECTIONS :
We are expecting free and fair election in 2008. When a country
suffers from misfortune, definitely a major or minor portion of its
citizens are responsible for it.
* Why Vietnam had to suffer from such a big loss of lives and
properties ? A number of her citizens had "wishful marriage" with the
conspirators of USA.
* Why Bangladesh needed nine month's to win liberation, and not three
months ? Because the traitors (Rajakars and Albadar's) of this land
had that marriage with the conspirators of Pakistan, where Pakistan
had "infant marriage" with the conspirators of USA.
Definitely the causes of present misfortune of Bangladesh lies with
BNP and BJP, who established that relation with the conspirators of
USA.

One of the indications of the evil political parties is, it would be
formed with miscreants and it would rob the wealth the country for
enriching itself and the marriage partner, if any. Normally such
parties earn illegal wealth to such extent that they can easily keep
great number of them in their pay role. During the period of BNP,
there was considerable number of persons whose profession was
"politics". If you ask them "What do you do ?", their reply was "We do
the party". When any political party bank on such miscreants, they
know these miscreants would do their best in order to keep their
party in power, such that (i) may continue their 'profession' in
future and (ii) they may not be penalized for their offenses under the
new party.

It cannot be foretold whether BNP or BJP will be able to get such
miscreants to work for them in the 2008 election, or whether the
system of election would allow the use of such persons. So, we cannot
say, if these parties would win in the coming election. But one thing
we know for sure. And it is, in case BNP or BJP wins, then after their
tenure the world would witness repetitions of the 2006-scene, because
these "sticky-bottom" parties would not agree to give power to any
other and the people under their oppression would endeavor to kick
them out. It is time for to keep watch on USA, the number one supplier
of "superglue" to the bottoms of the corrupt and notorious political
parties.
