A Dhaka court ordered Jamat minded former Islami Bank chairman Shah Mohammad Hannan and two others Jamat minded to appear before the court on April 30 in connection with a defamation case filed by a freedom fighter, Mohammad Abu Shahid Billah of Mohammadpur, who fought under Sector Commander Col Kazi Nuruzzaman in Pabna, Dinajpur and Rajshahi and was wounded during the war.
Meanwhile, another Dhaka court directed Keraniganj police to submit the probe report of the murder case against Jamaat Ameer Matiur Rahman Nizami and 11 others by February 27, 2008.
