[mukto-mona] Re: Chief Justice Ruhul Amin - A Jamaati ideolog? A roadblock to the fair trials in Ban

Not surprisingly, S A Hannan always avoids questions that he knows he cannot get away with sweeping remarks. If this man is indeed sincere, he should answer HM's beautifully articulated questions. But guess what....at most, another vague, undefined and sloppy comments using the pretext "I do not want to get into personal debate," or "Real Islam is always good and all about justice." My friends, I always wondered, what is this
"Real Islam?"  Who would define this "Real Islam"? Where does it exist and in what form, it is manifested?

S A Hannan, any concrete answer in your stock? Please do NOT recycle old garbage..

Regards to all,
Jahed Ahmed

I presume, from the class of the postings of Jamatee minded Shah M Hannan, that he has not that much intelligence to talk about or debate with you, on the points you raised in your nice posting.

I humbly differ with Sir Hannan's posting – many a things is wrong in the statement of Chief Justice Ruhul Amin. He only expressed his deep ignorance about content and spirit of Sharia Laws as we see in past and present Sharia books and their applications. Also, there is flood of personal opinions on this issue that lead us nowhere until we back our opinions by documents. Here are my few comments :-

1.      "Present constitution says that faith in Allah is the basis of all actions of the state". A State does act, people do. Man-made constitution cannot be basis of faith in Allah. Our faith in Allah will not change if constitution changes. Relating these two is erroneous.
2.      "This means that all laws should be based on Islam". Which Law? Whose law? Based on which version of Islam? There is not only difference but also collision between different versions of Islam.
3.        "no religious, human rights will be violated and civil and rights will be same". That is simply untrue, I didn't expect Sir Hannan to use these words in this way. Non-state and state-criminals such Bush-Blare use these words while committing genocides.
4.       "Please see the constitution of Bangladesh, Pakistan and Iran and also OIC declaration of human rights". It is easy to write all good words – human rights are violated while those words are flooded in media.
5.      There is huge problem of non-Muslims in so-called "Islamic State".
6.      Muslims living under just laws is justice. Western laws are not made in churches – they are made by law-experts. True that all of them are not suitable for us – so we need our laws based on justice. That is not done yet.
7.      There is no "Islamic public law"; it is all deception in Islam's name. Islam is not is not for Law-business or State-business. The Sharia laws established in Islam's name are terrible violation of the Quranic Sharia and are huge liabilities of world-Muslims.

Sir Hannan, can we discuss documents focusing on any one of the following:- (A) Definition of Islam (B) Definition of the Quran (C) Mission of our Prophets (D) Mission of Islam preachers (E) Emergence of Sharia Laws (F) Examples of Sharia Laws (G) Impact of those laws on past and present Muslim societies.

Until we do that, we are simply deceiving ourselves and others knowingly or unknowingly.

Regards.

Hasan Mahmud.

It is very possible. I am not sure though.

If I remember correctly, he had felt embarrassed - without any valid reason, like conflict of interest or lack of information - to sit on the bench at the trial of some of the killers of Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman - without any reason at all. Please correct me if I am wrong.my recollection is correct - RA is indeed a bad justice and a possible Jamaati dalal - a corrupt man, intellectually and morally.

The problem with religion and its laws is very simple.

1. Believers have not made a choice to believe unless
they have converted in adulthood.
2. Religion would impose its laws on unbelievers.

Mr. Hannan,

If you say that minorities should not have any problem with Islamic
law as long as "there is no problem of non-Muslims in any fundamental
or essential matter.", then why would muslims have any issue living
under secluar law as long their human rights are not violated? That
way no religion has upper hand over the other. If it is injustice to
ninety percent muslims (a laughable number, since there are lot of us
who want secular law) to live under secular law, then it equally
unjustified to the 10% people of other religion.

Does it even matter to you if the minorities in Bangladesh or any
other muslim majority country don't feel that their human rights are
upheld under Islamic law? Look at the human rights record of all the
countries you have mentioned - minority groups in all of these
countries are suffering.

Given your track record though, I would not expect you to see things
logically.

Dear members,

Assalamu Alaikum.I do not see anything wrong in the statement of the Chief
Justice.Present consttution says that faith in Allah is the basis of all actions
of the state. This means that all laws should be based on Islam. However Islam
says that no religious, human rights will be violated and civil and rights
will be same.(Please see the constitution of Bangladesh, Pakistan aand Iran and
also OIC declaration of human rights). So there is no problem of non-Muslims in
any fundamental or essential matter.

It will be injustice to ninety percent Muslims if they are denied to live under
Islamic public law and forced to live by American nor English or French code for
all times.
