Are we loosing DJU?
When I read Dr. Jaffor Ullah's (DJU) article titled 'Watch out of arch-conservative Hindus masquerading as nationalists (MM part is fine, but calling Hindu million times! & agenda?)', I asked to myself, who is this DJU? Is this the same DJU, we used to know or somebody is writing in his name? Or, is there a transformation going on in his mind? My next question: Are we loosing DJU like poet Al Mahmood?
Ajoyda expressed concern that I may sharpen my attack! No Sir, I will not. I read 'Ovimonnyu' story long ago and know where to stop. Even Dr. Jiten Roy (DJR) is thinking to stop. Why? Because DJU is trying hard to prove with thesis that we are fundamentalists. Sir, did you notice that, DJU is attacking (provocating too) us ruthlessly?
I knew Anwar Jahid, whom people called with affection 'Janwar Jahid' who was Pro-Peking communist but later become pro-Islamists although he was not seen to follow any rituals. So people who are not a practicing religious rituals can also become a fundamentalist for other reasons. I know people who are very progressive but their spouses are praying five times. I don't have any problem with that but I loved to call them pseudo-secularists.
I noticed that MM moderators took a mission to promote DJU & down with DJR. Listen, we are also supporters of MM & I am with this forum most probably from its inception. I did not learn to quit and so I will be in the forum to face both DJU & Mohiuddin. But if DJR quits, you will lose a perfect gentleman, a former lecturer of DU, who did not learn to attack with a mission in mind like our big brother professor.
Still I failed to understand why we became fundamentalists just by supporting McCaine? I noticed that people are attacking DJR and trying to portray him as what he is not. I never joined conservative/liberal debate but DJU closely tight DJR & me, because we are Hindu & supported McCaine?
Dr. Roy, don't quit, rather have fun and keep DJU busy.
