      Recent news of Asian Development Bank withdrawing their $ billion support to Asia Energy for coal mining operation in Fulbaria, Bangladesh
      after intense activism on the part of the combined forces of scientists,economists, environmentalists is encouraging.

According to Reuters, 'Environmental groups called on the World Bank to delay a decision on Tuesday on funding for a $4.2 billion coal-fired power plant in India until more analyses of costs and environmental impact are done.'
