Most probably General Moeen U. Khan forgot the fact that Potato is 'poison' to most Diabetic patienets. There is no official statistics about Diabetes in Bangladesh where people eat Rice three tiomers a day instead of one time most other nation do. Rice, Bread and Potato all carbohydrate foods are harmful to Diabetes. Changing Rice/Bread havit to Potato won't do any good to the Diabetes rather dicrease the life of the Diabetes.
Bangladeshis should practice one dinner in the evening and several breakfasts during the day time (with less carbohydrate like sandwitches,salads, fruits, vegetables)that's the only solution available to them to defuse food crisis.
Food crisis is everywhere now not only in Bangladesh even in the USA food price is increasing day by day in addition to gas price.
