RE: [ALOCHONA] Re: BREAKING NEWS: Barrister Shafique elected SCBA president

Dear Alochoks:

I am a lawyer and I do support the view expressed by Mr. Ezajur Rahman about lawyers and politics in Bangladesh. Lawyers do engage in politics around teh world but in our country thus far every law minister has delivered almost no constructive development in the field of law and legal practice and for well-known reasons they allow corruption rule our courts - which can easily eradicated by taking up some simple steps. I welcome you all to follow the link below to read my article on this issue:

Aha! I was wondering why this was called breaking news! And with
no reference to a political party. This is part of our systematic
corruption. Any foreigner reading the article will think it was an
election based on debates and issues in the law. In reality the
election was held along party political lines - not who will help the
legal system to advance. What a shame, what a disgrace.

Perhaps this guy can give lectures to law students on how to throw
chairs as a barrister, paint pretty banners as a barrister, march as
a barrister, lobby for a nethri as a barrister.

Breaking news. More like breaking wind.
