Re: [ALOCHONA] Re: Late SK MUJIB : Reality and Romanticism

Dear Friends:

I have to agree with Mr. Ali, the original posts to which he is responding are nothing but 3rd rate propagandist make believe. Only the most patently uninformed or those with pre-judged mindsets will find them even mildly interesting as analysis. This is not to say Sk Mujibur Rahman did not make errors or that the post 1972 were a bunch of angels. He made a lot of undemocratic mistakes but then did the one's who came after them & in some respects which could be determined to be treasonous. Presumbably our propagandist friend is implying about the latter when he disses Sk Mujib.

I would venture to guess neither will the lot that will emerge after the current hysteria and excitement of the so-called reforms undertaken by the CTG. I say this with all due apologies to my friend from Kuwait, Mr. Ejazur Rahman and all his like minded comrades for being the proverbial fly in the soup.

Dear Dr.

whatever you wrote below is nothing other than the cheap
logics BNP and the other culprits have blabbered for so long. Yes,
there are a significant number of mistakes in the Seikh mujib
administration. Things could have been done differently. but
Bangladesh after '71 was a whole different experience even for the
most seasoned of politicians who were in the administrative positions
for the first time. None of us have to agree with every sinle
decision his administration made in the war -torn country. At the
same time, we have no bloody right to rip him of his due
respect.without bongobondhu there would not have been a bangladesh,
at least not so soon. my suggestion?? go back to your history books.
