I thought as the speed of the object approaches that of light, Newton gradually loses control and Einstein takes over. Also as the object becomes smaller and smaller, Newton again can handle only less and less until Schrodinger, et. al. are in control. Newtonian (classical) mechanics fails in two cases: (i) when the speed approaches that of speed, and (ii) when the object is small. In such situations relativistic mechanics and quantum mechanics come into rescue. But the converse is not true. Motion of 'slow' objects can still be explained by relativistic mechanics and likewise motion of 'large' objects can also be explained by quantum mechanics. In other words, classical mechanics can be seen as a limiting case of both relativistic and quantum mechanics. For 'slow' objects, however, relativistic results like 'time dilation' and 'space contraction' are not observable. Similarly for 'large' objects, wave behavior is not observable.
Galaxies are moving at very high speed. I don't think because of that they behave as quantum particles.
