[mukto-mona] Israel's 60th year and the Palestinaian Naqba.

I wonder what is the real catastrophe or Naqba? The creation of Israel or the 60 years old Arab failure to come to terms with the realities? In the modern history there is no parallel to this Arab Israeli conflict where a nations desire to survive have caused so of pain and blood bath. If the aim of politics is to ensure welfare for the people, this did not happen with the Arabs. They always succumb to the dogmas and baseless emotions. From 1948 to 2008 this wrong perception is still persisting in the Arab psyche otherwise this sense of catastrophe would not have occupied their mindset. The Arab leaders still does not really understand the pain of the hapless Palestinians whose plight has been ignored by them for so long.  This is a mockery when they shed tears for the Palestinians but stick to their follies. This utterly wrong policy on the part of the Arabs is directly responsible for prolonging this problem.
