Siddhartha Ghosh Dastidar sent a mail to the Editor, Daily Pioneer, which reads as under.
Gautam Mukherjee's poem on 3 July last is a ludicrous exercise in plagiarism. It is straight lifted from Irving Berlin's lyric (a wellknown song). I am reproducing the whole below.
