When a woman gets married, in most cases in the world, she adopts the last name of her husband.  So Hasina Begum became Hasina Wazed.  Khaleda Begum or Khanam became Khaleda Zia.  What's wrong with that?  Even a semi-literate person knows that.  Hasina Wazed vs Sheikh Hasina.  How about Tarek Zia vs Tarek Rahman?  The bottom line is all of them didn't use anything from outside in their surnames.  They used after their fathers or husbands.  In addition to using foul language, it looks like your intense and sickening hatred towards AL also made you dumb in this case.

The reality is you could not tolerate the criticism of Khaleda's multiple use of birth days.  We feel your agony.  Somebody named Mamun found out that 85% of the people use fake birth days.  But when people change their birthdays, usually during SSC registration, they stick to that date all along their life.  They use it in all their official business - admission to colleges, marriage, driver's license, employment etc.  But in case of Khaleda – a former head of the country, she used five different dates for different official purposes.  Most notoriously when she lost election to AL in 1996, she chose Aug 15 as her current birthday (I wish this remain her last one) just to hurt her political opponent. (What a nice gesture from our very Islamic leader to her opponent on her saddest day! right).  What kind of example as a leader she and her pseudo-Islamic cohorts are setting for our young children?  Not only that, she celebrates this fake birthday nationally with much fanfare: expensive and huge cakes and lots of sweetmeat.  All newspapers carry the stories of her birthday celebration.  Even though there is Islamic religious edict against celebrating birthdays, mother's day, valentines day etc., she may be the only leader other than Queen Elizabeth who celebrates birthday with this much publicity.  But she is Khaleda, she is our queen, and she is above all.

May Allah remove hypocrisy from all of us this ramadhan,
