Dear members,
Assalamu Alaikum.The respected two scholars have right to their views.However I do not find Dr Jurashi is opposed to Islamic state.He has asked Brotherhood to give up a slogan.
In any case there are a hundred times more scholars who want Islamic state peacefully, if possible.Their view is that Islamic state is by nature a civil state, guaranteeing human rights to all, truly democratic in electing leaders , independence of judiciary and so on.Islamists are content with working for individual and social transformation if they can not reach the stage of establishing Islamic state.The Islamic leadershipare highly educated and moderate and balanced in their approach except a few maniac and mad created by outside forces.
Shariah with its elaboration and expansion by Ijtihad in the light of Maslaha can provide all solutions to human problems in every age and place..
Wishes of a few scholars and their would not change the course of Islam , whatever the Western powers may want.The strength of Islam is its truth and the people who hold it in their heart..The course is well-set now.
