I am no Islamic scholar, Prof. Das. I have neither scholarship nor intention to delve into the meaning of Jihad. I simply said that this kind of article can have positive impact on the misguided jihadists who have not yet reached the point of no return. Potential jihadists will also learn from this article why instead of taking law in their own hands they should leave it to the government. I don't understand what we really want to gain by being hesitant to welcome such an article that can change the mind of many real and potential jihadists. I strongly believe that by emphasizing and propagating the non-jihadi and accommodative aspects of Islam, Yogi is doing a great service to his readers.
