In any case, I am not much interested in personally attacking anyone, including Yoginder Sikand. However, as I wrote earlier, I generally send Mr. Sikand's articles to the trash folder pretty quickly.
As for Subimal Chakrabarty praising Mr. Sikand's articles, he certainly has the right to do that. However, he was wrong in calling the critics of Mr. Sikand's articles "Islam bashers." I, for one, never bashed Islam.
I have bashed Muslims, one might say. Indeed, I like Christians and Hindus more, because they are better in ignoring their forefathers' religious books.
