All my regards to you.Bangladesh society,whether Hindus or Muslims essentially guided by their religious law, values and culture in their names, in their festivals, in their food, in their dress, in their perceptions and so on.Muslim period of Bangladesh history was based on the Shariah law in public matters, in private matters all communities followed their own laws and culture.
The humanity, in most of its history was ruled by empires based on religion, Islamic empires, Holy Roman empire, Buddhist empire of India, Hindu empires of India of the past.Secularism is only a recent affair and under challenge .
About music of various types there isdifference among scholars and there are several opinions.Music is not clearly prohibited in Islam like alcohol, interest, gambling and statues.
Few people gather under the statues around Dhaka university, .People go to Shahid Minar where there is no idol or statue.
