[ALOCHONA] Avatar Mujib

Dear All,

I think time has come to declare the Father of Nation an Avatar. The hypocratic regime of Aamodis with the backing of Awami League has successfully preached that IT is not modern to destroy idols. They have successfully preached that it is OK with Islam to have idols popping up everywhere. It is OK to shut up Islamic faith in the name of secularism. If anyone is wondering why Islam is uncompromisingly against statue building then my question is WHY do we HAVE to garland Sheikh Mujib's potrait? What is keeping AWAMI LEAGUE from building a massive life-size IDOL of Mujib and garlending it with pooja-like devotion? Have we forsaken our faith that far that we feel ashamed to say that to garland Mujib's potrait is Bidaat in Islamic philosophy? I am absolutely against garlending Shaheed Minar or Victory Minar. I wonder why not many newspapers do not publish pro-Islamic writings! No one can prove me with any logic that these garlending trend begets any fruit. Rather the greatest respect to show to Sheikh Mujib and to other great children of the soil would be by:

establishing their idiologies by doing good to the motherland and
by
praying for the departed soul.

We have become too lanient with our obligations and we shake off our duties by garlending the images. What next? Mujib the Avatar? Disgusting! Even Mujib would have been ashamed of this practice like Gandhi would have been ashamed of temples made in his name all over India. Remember! Gandhi specifically ordered not to worship him. Look what has come of that order!

Subject: [ALOCHONA] Darkness to Colour

Dear Readers,

I am not a great fan of Awami League. Yet, I have accepted the people's verdict. Now remains a great future to see where the new leaders will set a trend of sacrifices and relentless endeavours to make the lot of the millions of this ill-fated nation shine with pride. They are our new leaders. We long to come out of the vortex of darkness into the colourful world of success in human freedom. A freedom where we will chersih our long lost norms of social justice and peace amongst all without any mud-slinging politics of revenge and hate. The leaders need to remeber that the wind at the tree top, the lift of the eagle from the hills and the dust in the morning sun make us see temporal beauty but the reality is the tree needs to have strong roots not to fall down, the eagle needs to fly high to see its aim and the dust needs to give way to a cleaner world. We wait to see the bright future. We can do it and we will do it. We will become the mightiest nation one day and yes we dare to dream. Lucky are those who are living in our motherland as those of us who long to return are like lost tear-drops left to dry in foreign soils.

Sincerely,

Subject: [ALOCHONA] A great relief!

A great relief indeed to see the bunch of Jamaati jackals -- and that Satan-incarnate Amini -- kept out of the Parliament. Almighty Allah has helped them from continuing to commit 'shirk' i.e. becomiing 'lawmakers' which would have made them compete with "Allah'r ain."

I am not unmindful though of the no. of votes received by the Jamaat.  There is an increase in this number from previous elections.  Even one Jamaat seat in the JS is worrisome. Even a toehold there keeps alive their power to hold the country in thrall of Islamization.

If leopards can change spots, it would be nice to see how Ershad could be persuaded to a vote in the Parliament to repeal his own handiwork -- the most audacious, unconstitutional installation of a State Religion.

For those who think that having a State Religion is not a fascist practice, I would urge them to look up Catholic Chruch's role in Germany and Austria in 1930s and during WWII. There has never been a State Religion in the history of Bengal or anywhere in India.

Ajoy-da should be thanked for his work on Sampriti Mancha. It was good to see some non-Muslim winners within mainstream constituencies.

Let us see how the transfer of power unfolds.
