BNP, allies MPs-elect attend oath-taking ceremony

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party on Tuesday sent a four-member delegation to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet of the archrival Awami League-led alliance government at Bangabhaban.
   The delegation members are four MPs-elect of the party — Salauddin Quader Chowdhury, MK Anwar, Barkatullah Bulu and Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anny.
   Three MPs-elect of BNP’s allies Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Bangladesh Jatiya Party also joined the function.
   The Jamaat MPs-elect were ANM Shamsul Islam and AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad and the BJP MP-elect was Andaleeve Rahman.
   The Dhaka mayor, Sadek Hossain Khoka, also a BNP leader, also attended the function.
