Bangladesh: the new government's programme
The International Bangladesh Foundation and All Party Parliamentary Bangladesh Group and representatives of Bangladeshi political parties, Members of both Houses of the UK Parliament and of the European Parliament, international human rights organisations and academics have organised a seminar (11.00 – 13.00) on Monday 20 April 2009, in Committee room 3, Houses of Parliament. The seminar will discuss the Awami League – Grand Alliance government's agenda for their first year in office, and an appraisal of their programme. The meeting will also discuss the recent events in Bangladesh.
Lord Avebury, Baroness Uddin, Mr Charles Tannock MEP and Mr. Brad Adams will share their experience on their recent visit to Bangladesh
