This allegation is not true.You may read Maulana Maududi’s book Khilafal and Mulukiat and also his book Sunnat ki Aini Haisiat ( both the books are available in Bangla ).Bigotry is no solution. He has not writtenanything which is impermissible in Islam.This is recognized by most scholars.
As a very serious student of Islam I can say the allegation is not true.

I don't blame Mujahid much, it is the trdition of his spiritual and political guru Moududi who openly rejected Prophet (SA)'s sahih hadiths and criticized Prophets, Khulafe Rashedins, and Sahabas.
