RE: [mukto-mona] FW: ICT judgement on Moulana Abul Kalam Azad

SA HANNAN SB,
Bachchu RAZAKAR was well known for his attrocities during 1971 and his crime has been proven beyond reasonable doubt in the trial and VERDICT came accordingly. Yet, you are promoting another theory here just like JAMAT normally does!!! In the name of ISLAM, you folks do politics but you have no problem overlooking these heinous crime committed by JAMAT leaders (SAYDEE/MUJAHEDIN/KADER MOLLA/NIZAMI/SAKA/GOLAM AZAM/ALIM and many others). It is simply WRONG to support KILLERS according to ISLAM. YOU CAN NOT SAY OR CLAIM WITH A STRAIGHT FACE THAT THESE RAZAKARS DID NOT KILL PEOPLE DURING 1971 WAR. I HAVE NOTICED YOU HAVE BEEN POSTING MANY ARTICLES HERE AND THERE SUPPORTING THE KILLERS OR DEFENDING THE KILLERS OF 1971... MAY I ASK WHY???????
REGARDS, RUSSEL

Azad to be hanged for war crimes

Daily Star and other dailies have reported that The ICT-2 pronounced its maiden verdict on a crimes against humanity case on Monday awarding death sentence to fugitive and expelled Jamaat member Abul Kalam Azad. The International Crimes Tribunal-2, set up to try those accused of committing crimes against humanity during the country's Liberation War in 1971 passed the verdict amid tight security. ICT-2 Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan earlier read the summary of the 112-page verdict.
The ICT-2 delivered the verdict at the room of International Crimes Tribunal-1 today following space crisis due to huge presence of people particularly journalists and lawyers at the court room. Earlier on November 4, Azad was indicted with eight charges of crimes against humanity, based on eight incidents that left at least 12 unarmed people dead and two women raped in Faridpur during the country's Liberation War.Wrapping up the arguments between December 23 and 26, 2012, the prosecution appealed for capital punishment for Azad, while the state-appointed defence counsel sought his exemption from the eight charges.a.r
Moulana Azad is a well-known and top Alim ( scholar of Islam )Of Bangladesh. Many parties of Bangladesh and foreign experts have opined that the Tribunal is not following international standard and judges are not neutral. The judgment of such tribunal can not be accepted by the people After Skype conversation disclosure by Economist London of a Tribunal judge and a foreign based Bangladesh jurist it has come out that the foreign based Bangladeshi jurist and some Ministers of Bangladesh have tried to influence the tribunal in every possible way.
