A piece of advice to Ms. Farida Majid: People who call you "Bua" are not worth your time.
I have criticized Ms. Majid on many occasions without ever being disrespectful. People who try to make a point by being grossly disrespectful to an elderly lady who certainly has some respectable quality are too incorrigible and too much of a shame.

The point I want to make:if a person is Muslim, must practice and follow the Islam preached and practice by Prophet (SWT) and guidance stated in the Quran.
If a person is Hindu, must practice and follow the actual scripture.
If a person is Christian, must follow Jesus and the scriptures revealed through him, not the edited version in course of times.
Same goes with other faiths. I strongly believe, there will be no unrest and peace will prevail in the world. Devil will be defeated.

আমি জয়নুল ভাইয়ের সাথে একমত। অনুষ্ঠানটি সাংকৃতিক। দেশের সংখ্যা গরিষ্ঠ লোকদের, অর্থাৎ মুসলমানদের, ধর্ম, শিক্ষা, সাংকৃতি, নিষ্ঠা, আচার ব্যবহারের সাথে সঙ্গতি রেখে তা পালনে কোন অসুবিধা থাকার কথা নয়। কিন্তু বাংলাদেশে যা করা হচ্ছে তা দেখে মনে হয় একটি ভিন্ন দেশীয়, ভিন্ন ধর্মীয়, অমুসলিম আচার অনুষ্ঠান প্রচলন করাটাই প্রধান লক্ষণ। স্কুল কলেজ ও অন্নান্ন শিক্ষাঙ্গনে বাধ্যতামূলক ভাবে তা পালন করার আদেশ/নির্দেশ আরো ভয়ঙ্কর ! বালক বালিকাদের কচি মনে "একেতো উল্লইল্লা বুড়ি তার উপর ঢোলের বাড়ি" ঢুকিয়ে বিনষ্ট করার মহা পরিকল্পনা। অভিভাবক ও মুরুব্বি শ্রেণীকে এই অপসংকৃতির প্রতিবাদে এক্ষনি এগিয়ে আসতে হবে; দেরী করলে সম্মুখে মহা বিপদ !
নয়ন চ্যাটার্জী মঙ্গলের কিছু ব্যাখ্যা দিয়েছেন, যাতে বুঝতে অসুবিধা হয়না যে কার্যত হিন্দুআনি আচার অনুষ্ঠানকে একটা স্থায়ী রূপ দেয়াই আমাদের ভারত ও হিন্দু ঘেঁষা শোষক গোষ্ঠীর মূল লক্ষ্য। অর্থাৎ, ৯০ শতাংশের মুসলমানী বাংলাদেশকে ভারতীয় হিন্দুর রাষ্টের অঙ্গ রাজ্য তৈরী করার আরেকটি ক্রমশ পয়তারা।
রাশেদ ভাই একটি সুন্দর কবিতা লিখেছিলেন যে হাসিনার বাংলাদেশ একে একে সব কিছুই দিল্লীর পাদদেশে অর্পণ করে দিয়েছে। এখন সাংকৃতিক দিকটাও আর বাকি রইলোনা।
চীন থেকে ছোট্ট দুটো পুরোনো, হয়তো অকেজোও, সাবমেরিন বাংলাদেশে এলো, আর ভারতের সে কী গাত্রজ্বালা ! তাদের ধারণা, এতকিছু করেও দেশটা বোধকরি চীনের কোলেই চলে গেলো। তাইতো বাংলাদেশের সঙ্গে যথাশীগ্র প্রতিরক্ষা চুক্তিতে তাদের এতো তোড়জোড়।
এখানে আমার একটি প্রশ্ন। সন্ত্রাস বা অন্য কোনো সিকিউরিটি ক্ষেত্রে যদি বাইরের সাহায্যের দরকারই পড়ে, তবে SAARC র মাধ্যমে নয় কেন ? আমার মনে হয় SAARC র এজেন্ডাতে এমন একটি বিষয় আছে। তাছাড়া, রাষ্ট্রদূত মার্সিয়া বার্নিকাট তো সাহায্যের হাত নিয়ে এক পায়ে দাঁড়িয়ে।
বাংলাদেশ সামরিক কর্মকর্তাদের ও সামরিক বিশেষজ্ঞদের ওজড় অজুহাত, যদিও থাকে, কোনো কাজে লাগবেনা। সবাই হালুয়া রুটিতে তৃপ্ত । হবে যা হাসিনা-মোদী চাইবে তাই। সন্ত্রাস দমন নামে বিভিন্ন অভিযান "সুজাকে বুঝানো।" হাসিনা দিল্লী থেকে ফেরত এলে সবাই আঙ্গুল চুষতে থাকবে। এই বেলেল্লেপনা অপ সাংকৃতিক আগ্রাসনের বেলও হবে তাই।
তাইতো বলি, দেশে শুধু একজন পুরুষ, বাকি সব হিজড়া।

গতকাল, ২৮ মার্চ ২০১৭, বাংলা ট্রিবিউন রিপোর্টে প্রকাশঃ "বর্ষবরণে সব শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রার নির্দেশ"। সংবাদ বর্ণনে লেখা হয়েছে, " আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয়ের বৈঠকের পর গত ১৬ মার্চ মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ শিক্ষা অধিদফতর (মাউশি) থেকে একটি নির্দেশনা জারি করা হয়। মাউশি'র সহকারী পরিচালক (এইচআরএম) আশেকুল হক স্বাক্ষরিত ওই নির্দেশনায় বলা হয়, বাংলা নববর্ষ ১৪২৪ আয়োজন উপলক্ষে একটি আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এতে পহেলা বৈশাখে সব শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে নিজস্ব ব্যবস্থাপনায় উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে ও আড়ম্বরের সঙ্গে বাংলা বর্ষবরণের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। এছাড়া ইউনেস্কো কর্তৃক মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রা'কে বিশ্বঐতিহ্যের তালিকাভুক্ত করায় বিষয়টি গুরুত্বসহ উদযাপনের নির্দেশনা দেওয়া হয়েছে। এমতাবস্থায় মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ শিক্ষা অধিদফতরের আওতাধীন সব প্রতিষ্ঠান প্রধানকে নিজস্ব ব্যবস্থাপনায় এ অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজনের জন্য অনুরোধ করা হচ্ছে।" এ আদেশ আবশ্যই প্রত্যাহার করা জরুরী।ইতিহাসে দেখা যায়, "খাজনা আদায়ে সুষ্ঠুতা প্রণয়নের লক্ষ্যে মুঘল সম্রাট আকবর বাংলা সনের প্রবর্তন করেন। তিনি মূলত প্রাচীন বর্ষপঞ্জিতে সংস্কার আনার আদেশ দেন। সম্রাটের আদেশ মতে তৎকালীন বাংলার বিখ্যাত জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানী ও চিন্তাবিদ ফতেহউল্লাহ সিরাজি সৌর সন এবং আরবি হিজরী সনের উপর ভিত্তি করে নতুন বাংলা সনের নিয়ম বিনির্মাণ করেন।" (পহেলা বৈশাখ, উইকিপিডিয়া)।দেশে দেশে নববর্ষ পালিত হয় বিভিন্ন ভাবে, কোন কোন দেশে বিশাল ঘটা করে। কিন্তু বাংলা নববর্ষ ১৪ এপ্রিল উদযাপন নিয়ে বাংলাদেশকে যে সাংস্কৃতিক আগ্রাসনের শিকার বানানো হচ্ছে, তার প্রতিরোধ অবশ্যই প্রয়োজন।ঢাকায় মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রা শুরু হয় ১৯৮৯ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ব বিদ্যালয় চারুকলা বিভাগ থেকে। বাংলাদেশে এই সাম্প্রতিক ও অতি স্বল্প প্রচলিত মঙ্গল শোভাযাত্রাকে কে বা কারা কি উদ্দেশ্যে 'ইউনেস্কো'-এর ঐতিহ্য তালিকায় তুলেছে, তা আমার জানা নেই, তবে ঐ তালিকায় বাগেরহাট ৬০ গম্বুজ মসজিদও আছে। কাজেই, 'ইউনেসকো'-এর ছুতায় বর্তমান সরকারী আদেশে "মুসলিম ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জোর করে হিন্দু ধর্মীয় আচার মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা পালন করতে বাধ্য করা হচ্ছে।"এটা অবশ্যই প্রতিরোধ করা প্রয়োজন। ক্ষমতা ও সম্পদের মোহে হাসিনা দুর্গাদেবীর বন্দনা করতে পারেন, ওবায়দুল কাদের তার মহাভারত পাঠের বড় ছবি কাগজে দিতে পারেন, কিন্তু ইসলামে মূর্তি পূজা নিষিদ্ধ।নীচে দেখুনঃসৌজন্যঃ ফেইসবুকSabbier Hossain8 hrs ·From Facebook: Noyon Chatterjee 5প্রথমেই বলে নেই, 'মঙ্গল' শব্দটি সাধারণ মানুষ দুই অর্থে নেয়-১) ভালো শব্দ অর্থে২) দিবস বা বার অর্থেকিন্তু মঙ্গল শব্দটার আরো কিছু ধর্মীয় অর্থ আছে। বিশেষ করে 'মঙ্গল' শব্দটি পুর্তিপূজকদের কাছে এক দেবতা তথা 'মঙ্গলদেবতা'র নাম। মঙ্গল হল যৌনতা, যুদ্ধ এবং শক্তির দেবতা। হিন্দু ধর্মে মঙ্গলশব্দটি ওতপ্রোতভাবে জড়িত। যেমন- মধ্যযুগে হিন্দুধর্মীয় আখ্যান কাব্য মঙ্গলকাব্য নামে পরিচিত। বলা হয়ে থাকে, যে কাব্যে দেবতার আরাধনা, মাহাত্ম্য-কীর্তন করা হয়, যে কাব্য শ্রবণেও মঙ্গল হয় এবং বিপরীতে হয় অমঙ্গল; যে কাব্য মঙ্গলাধার, এমন কি, যে কাব্য ঘরে রাখলেও মঙ্গল হয় তাকে বলা হয় মঙ্গলকাব্য বলে। মঙ্গলকাব্য আবার তিন শাখা- মনসামঙ্গল, চন্ডীমঙ্গল ও অন্নদামঙ্গল।এছাড়া-হিন্দুরা পূজার সময় যে পাত্র ব্যবহার করে তাকে মঙ্গলঘট বলে।বিশেষ পূজার জন্য যে প্রদীপ ব্যবহার করে তাকে মঙ্গল প্রদীপ বলে।পূজার সময় মঙ্গলপ্রদীপ ঘুড়িয়ে যে আলোর বিচ্চুরণ করা হয় তাকে মঙ্গল আরতি বলে।হিন্দু ধর্মে একটা পূজাই আছে যার নাম মঙ্গলপূজাহিন্দু বিয়ের প্রথম আচারের নাম হচ্ছে মঙ্গলাচরণহিন্দুদের বিয়ের সময় সূর্য্যোদয়ের আগে বর ও কন্যাকে চিড়ে ও দৈ খাওয়ানো হয় তাকে দধিমঙ্গল বলেমঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রাও তেমনি হিন্দুদের একটি ধর্মীয় যাত্রা। বিশেষ করে জন্মাষ্টমীর সময় হিন্দুরা মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা বের করে এটা প্রায় সর্বত্রই দেখা যায়। সে হিসেবে মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা যে হিন্দু বা মূর্তিপূজক বা প্যাগানাদের একটি বিশেষ ধর্মীয় অনুসঙ্গ তাতে কোন সন্দেহ নাই। কিন্তু বর্তমান সরকার সেই মূর্তিপূজক (প্যাগান) আচার-প্রথা মুসলমানদের উপর জোর করে চাপিয়ে দিচ্ছে। উল্লেখ্য কিছুদিন আগে দেখা গেছে সুপ্রীম কোর্টে সামনে গ্রিক/রোমান প্যাগানদের মূর্তি স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। কিন্তু এবার একেবারে মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা মানে হিন্দু ধর্মীয় আচারপ্রথাকে মুসলমান ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়েছে (প্রত্যেক স্কুলে নোটিশ পাঠিয়েছে সরকার। বলেছে বাধ্যতামূলক মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা করতে- (http://bit.ly/2mLiTLs))।বাংলাদেশের সর্বোচ্চ আইন সংবিধানে কিন্তু স্পষ্ট বলা আছে- কাউকে অন্য ধর্ম পালনে বাধ্য করা যাবে না। বিশেষ করে সংবিধানের মৌলিক অধিকার- `ধর্মীয় স্বাধীনতা' অংশের ৪১ এর ২ ধারায় স্পষ্ট বলা আছে- `কোন শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে যোগদানকারী কোন ব্যক্তির নিজস্ব ধর্ম-সংক্রান্ত না হইলে তাঁহাকে কোন ধর্মীয় শিক্ষাগ্রহণ কিংবা কোন ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান বা উপাসনায় অংশগ্রহণ বা যোগদান করিতে হইবে না'। কিন্তু এক্ষেত্রে প্রকাশ্যে মুসলিম ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জোর করে হিন্দু ধর্মীয় আচার মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা পালন করতে বাধ্য করা হচ্ছে।তাই আমি বলবো-সরকার স্কুলগুলোতে বাধ্যতামূলক মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা করতে চিঠি পাঠিয়ে চরম সাম্প্রদায়িকতা করেছে, ৯৫% মুসলমানকে জোর করে হিন্দুধর্ম পালনে বাধ্য করেছে। আজকে যদি হিন্দুদের জোর করে গরু মাংশ খাওয়ানো হতো, তবে সেটা যেমন অন্যায় ও সাম্প্রদায়িক কাজ হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হতো, ঠিক তেমনি মুসলিম ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জোর করে হিন্দুদের মঙ্গলশোভাযাত্রা করানোটাও একই রকম উগ্রসাম্প্রদায়িক আগ্রাসণ হিসেবে বিবেচিত হবে। তাই যারা এ ধরনের নোটিশ স্কুলগুলোতে পাঠিয়েছে তাদের দ্রুত আইনের আওতায় এনে বিচারের দাবি জানাচ্ছি। ..............Noyon chatterjee
