[mukto-mona] My Forthcoming Books

Dear Friends,

 

Three of my new books (Bengali Text) are scheduled to be published in the month-long February Book Fair (2008) in Dhaka:

 

1. Biswa Kobiter Koyek Chhatra (A Synopsis of World Poetry) in Bengali translation, which will include 17 poets of different parts of the world, such as Charles Baudelaire, Anna Akhmatova, Wislawa Szymborska, Stanley Kunitz, Nikanor Parra, Shuntaro Tanikawa, Gerald Stern, Adonis, Gregory Rabassa, Charles Fishman, Samuel Menashe, Jonathon Galassi, Hal Sirowitz, Stanley H. Barkan, Robert Dunn, Adam Szyper and Celia Altschuler. This book will be published by Shahitto Bikash.

 

2. Kobitar Janmodag (The Birthmark of Poetry), a book of critical essays on poetry, will be published by Mawla Brothers.

 

3. Boroi Gachha Choroi Nachha (A Sparow Dances on a Boroi Branch), a collection of rhymes for children will be published by Labu Bhai Foundation.  

 

Moreover, the 37th and 38th issue of Shabdaguchha will be reprinted as a single volume by Labu Bhai Foundation.
